  4. From what I have heard, NZ has marvelous nature and activities ranging from swimming in the ocean to skiing. From pictures on this page and from the rest of this blog I cannot really disagree, looks really nice.

  5. I definately reccommend Rotorua as top 3 places to visit in New Zealand.

  6. “Rotorua is one of the top places in New Zealand than Auckland”

    • @Cookeville I agree. There are many stunningly beautiful places in New Zealand, but Rotorua is so geologically unique. It’s definitely a top place should make the effort visit Rotorua.

  7. Found your site on del.icio.us today and really liked it.. i bookmarked it and will be back to check it out some more later..

  8. Вот это да… Какой кошмар!

    • Babel Fish translates this to: “Here this yes… What nightmare!”

I think ‘nightmare’ is not quite the word the author intended, but Rotorua is very other-worldly :-)

  9. Drisana

Hello my name is Drisana Dobson and me and my friend is making a documentary about the pink and white terraces and we are wondering if anyone knows a historian the knows heaps about the pink and white terraces if so contact me at DrisanaD@hotmail.com
I hope to hear from someone soon
    Thank you.

    • Hi Drisana, I don’t know of anyone off-hand who is an expert about the pink and white terraces, but I’m sure there is someone. You might want to try the Rotorua information centres, or ask at the local newspaper. Also I’d try going to the library and searching for books on it, then see if you can contact the authors.

You might be able to find some leads by searching through the beautiful Matapihi website. Here’s the link to the search results for the Pink & White Terraces, there is a lot of information there and paintings of the terraces.

      Good luck with your documentary!
