Plants, ferns:
Hound's Tongue Fern, Whatipu
In Maori it is called kowaowao, which means to overgrow or choke. I found two Latin names for it,
Phymatosorus pustulatum
, and
Microsorum pustulatum
. It's growing in the mouth of the Pararaha Valley.
