Flower Fungus
Whirinaki: Flower Fungus
Aseroa rubra, about 50 mm tall and 80 mm across. They're a member of the Stinkhorn family and their spores are distributed by flies, hence the fleshy colours. They look like something you would find under the sea rather than on land.
