Bugs: Dobsonfly, St Arnaud
Archichauliodes diversus , sometimes known as 'Alderfly'. These are similar to Mayflies, but are a bit more primitive. The adult form seen here only lives for around 8 or 9 days. This one is about 30 mm long.
