White Island: Ruins in the sulphur factory
Determined attempts were made to mine the sulphur. One ended when the men and factory were buried in an eruption (only the cat survived), and the second couldn't sustain financial viability in the corrosive environment. This is the remains of a vat for heating rock in to extract the sulphur.
