Birds, forest: Whiteye, Otorohanga
Also known as silvereye, waxeye, tahou, pihipihi and Zosterops lateralis. They flew (or blew) over from Australia in the 1830s and are now well-adapted and found all over the country. This one is helping itself to the kaka's food. About 12 cm long.
