Birds, wetlands: Duck: New Zealand Scaup, Otorohanga
This is a male, as the female is a browner colour and has brown eyes. It's a diving duck and can go down a couple of metres looking for insects. Aythya novaeseelandiae or papango. About 40 cm long.
