Plants, ferns: Wheki koru, Arataki
The koru (coiled growing frond tip) of a wheki (brown or rough tree fern), Dicksonia squarrosa. This is the spindliest of the tree ferns, growing up to 7 metres tall with a trunk about 10 cm thick.
