| It's a little difficult to tell whether this is an eleven-armed starfish, Coscinasterias muricata, or a spiny star, Coscinasterias calamaria or papatangaroa. Both grow eleven to fourteen arms in a range of colours. Each leg on this one is about 100 mm long. Matheson Bay |
